S'Agaró
The route follows the last part of the "green trail" (a bicycle trail), which is almost flat and brings you to the beach of S’Agaró where you can take a wonderful swim, before a picninc or a lunch in one of the privileged restaurant of the small bay.
You will take the "green trail" that is just beside the burricleta headquarter and cross the village of Cassà de la Selva and you will head in direction to Llagostera, passing a magnificent field, painted with cultives. Just arriving to Llagostera, it is recommended to visit the old area, which is situated a privileged place, using the bells watchtowers to contemplate the surrounding plane, such as the massif of l’Ardenya and Les Gavarres and on the opposite side, the Montseny far away. The route will leave the village and go back to the "green trail", descending on "costa d’Alou", where you can enjoy the last valley, before arriving to the ocean. Riding on a priceless slope in the middle of the relevent and impressing vegetation with its lovely fresh shade, result of the routes location, just at the foot of the massif. Enjoying the shade, you can get refreshed at the Fountain "Font Picant" before doing the last part until arriving at the Coast. You will pass Santa Cristina d’Aro and Castell d’Aro with its curious old cores. From there you will soon arrive to the coast village of S’Agaró, where you must bring the burricletas to recharged their batteries at the Restaurant El Racó, run by Carmen, a very good professional and even better person, that will advise you about the lunch reservation, and hereafter it is just to enjoy..the ocean, the sand and the stunning views, while waiting for the meal, that will bring back the strenght.
After enjoying the meal and passing half a day, now with the energy reloaded once again, you will make the return on the outgoing trail, which allow you to capture and contemplate all the small treassures, that you left behind on the way out.
