Leaving Puigmajor, you head towards the “cats coast” Costa dels Gats. This secondary road in Lluçanes, is a winding path and given its narrowness, has very little traffic. Within a little more than 6 km, you will take the turning on the farm track of Santa Eulàlia de Puigoriol to Alpens. Before having done 1km, you turn right to get close to Sant Cristòfol de Borrasers, a romanesque building already mentioned in 1602 but renovated in the beginning the 17th century. It is worth noting the tombs of the main facade of men and women.
It is thought that the depopulation of the area meant that the Parish curch was no longer neede and possibly that the remains of the cementary would also be abandoned and regrouped in this way. The rectory of the old parish can be found in the building next door.
Following the farm track, you arrive at Alpens, a beautiful farming community located at the foot of the Santa Margarida de Vinyoles hill range, just at the source of the Rierea Gavarresa river.
On the way back, you ride past the romanic chapel of Sant Pau del Colomer, formerly Sant Paude Terrades, recognised since 1190 inside the boundaries of the old rural town of Terrades, now replaced by the bigger town of Colomer.
Riding past Sant Agustí de Lluçanès and el Collet de Sant Agustí, you return tothe starting point.
